The Arizona AHEC Program works with organizations and institutions statewide to plan, conduct, and support many community-based activities, including:
- School-year and summertime health-career programs for high-school students.
- Health-career fairs for youths and adults
- Health-education fairs for local populations
- Clinical rotations for students enrolled in health-professions training programs
- Continuing education events for health professionals
- Train-the-trainer programs on such topics as CPR instruction, cultural competency, presentation/facilitation skills
